One Conference, Five Tracks!
Spend the next 40+ hours in Christian community with students and church members that represent African-American, African-National, Afro-Caribbean, and other variations of a united Black community by exploring the depth of identity, justice, reconciliation, and mission within the context of our college campuses and the world around us. This track will expose the beauty of the Black Diaspora through worship, preaching, scripture engagement, and intercession through prayer. It will be a dynamic experience what it means to be fearfully, and wonderfully made in Christ as a person of Black origin, and engage our call to be a part of the mission of God.
We welcome students from all faith and Pan-Asian backgrounds to discover more about the intersection between our heritage & the Christian faith through family groups, seminars, stories, food, fun, worship & more! This year we’ll be looking through the book of Ephesians to discuss our citizenship in God’s kingdom.
Wherever you’re at on your spiritual journey, whether or not you speak Spanish, however long your family has been in this country we are familia! We will be hearing each other’s stories, looking at what Jesus has to say about our identity and dreaming about what God could do on our campuses, in our families and in our communities at this point in history.
Being a white person who cares about racial justice and reconciliation can be complicated and confusing. You may find yourself asking –where do I belong or what is my role? Waking Up is a place for white students to learn where they fit in God’s multiethnic landscape. We’ll talk about what it means to be white, how we overcome mistakes of the past, and build authentic relationships with people of other races and ethnicities.
International students have a unique opportunity to bless American campuses and the nations. In the Global Servants track, international believers will learn what it means to serve our Global God on campus and beyond through engaging scripture, fellowship, training and worship.
